We are seeking a Software Developer & Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team! Either role will require that ideally you are local to Winnipeg, have experience in the Financial Services industry, and have had exposure to working within an agile environment. This is a remote / work from home opportunity.

Duties of the role

• Performing coding assignments.
• Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.
• Refining and confirming requirements.
• Creating and implementing design plans.
• Logging, debugging and diagnosing production errors.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments.
• Sharing best practices with other developers through code reviews and presentations.

As the ideal candidate, you will

• Possess the proven ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies, languages, frameworks, and approaches.
• Have a natural curiosity towards learning and broadening your knowledge base.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Analyze and solve difficult problems.
• Communicate very well both verbally and in writing.

As a Senior Developer, you will also

• Be able to design complex systems and work on complicated tasks; frequently working in new territory for the application, with significant domain or technical knowledge.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar, or proven work experience in a related position.
• Senior Software Developer: a minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in design, development, implementation, and application integration.

Experience with the following is an asset

• C#, Typescript/Angular (or similar)
• Unit Testing/Automated E2E testing
• REST Services
• Visual Studio/VS Code
• Large, complex, and interconnected code bases
